Carolina Chem-Strip started over thirty years ago out of a passion for cars. President Ronnie Stallings loves working on, tinkering with, tuning up, and restoring cars. He started stripping cars for restoration projects for individuals all up and down the east coast. At the time, it was just him; a one-man operation. His wife Helen would tease him and ask if she needed to bring a cot to the plant!
Naturally, Ronnie is a man of vision, humility, and passion. He has said many times before “I saw a huge need in other industries for the little service that I was offering”. With that, he hit the road and started spreading the word about Carolina Chem-Strip. His hard work, dedication, and relentless efforts have lead the company to the position it’s in today. A leader in the chemical stripping industry, serving customers and businesses on the east coast, and operating two full service stripping facilities.
Carolina Chem-Strip is a family owned and operated business; from Ronnie’s wife Helen being the Controller to cousins and uncles. Ronnie’s Nephew and Plant Manager, Paul, has learned the business and has grown with Ronnie over the years. Paul and Ronnie’s main goal over the years has been surpassing customer expectations and making those customers and businesses customers for life.

Why Choose Carolina Chem-Strip?
Full service means that we do it all: all the stripping AND all the shipping. All you have to do is move your shop’s paint stripping work out to the shipping dock. We’ll take care of the rest!
Carolina Chem-Strip is open for business weekday, most weekends, and holidays during the year. We also can do stripping and shipping during your holiday and maintenance periods. We operate our own fleet of trucks so that our shipping schedule will match your company-stripping schedule.
